In the Homestretch

35 weeks, that is! Not sure if everyone would consider this the homestretch, but it feels like it to me :). I'm surviving the heat by barricading myself staying inside as much as I can.  Everyone seems to ask, so I'll go ahead and say that I'm not at the "get this baby out of me" stage yet, but I'll let you know in a couple weeks.  Right now I'm at the "holy cow we still need diapers and wipes and haven't packed our bag and haven't installed the car seat and I need to freeze meals and wash the rest of his clothes and finish writing out our birth plan and hang the pictures in his room" stage. Yes, I know I have time, in theory, but if you know me then you know I am a planner.  Since so much is out of my control (namely, when he decides to make his entrance... or is it exit?), having all of those things in place will make me feel better.  Good thing block leave starts on Monday, it means I have someone around all day to help me get things ready!

Anyway, here is my 35 week picture. It's hard for me to tell if I look any bigger, since I see myself everyday (duh).

Not much else going on around here.  I meant to take a picture of the blueberry breakfast cake I made, but since it was eaten rather quickly (success!), I failed to document it.  Try it, trust me.

A few comments:

1: I think you look bigger in the belly than before (and I don't see you everyday).

2: I made the blueberry breakfast cake a couple weeks ago and it was super yummo!

3: If you need any help or ideas for meals, let me know. Also, I can bring you some food or you could always just come over to my house and eat here... ;)

First of all, give the rest of us a break and stop being the CUTEST pregnant woman ever. I am never going to be that cute!

Second, I just love that you are about to have a baby, I can't wait to meet him!

Third, I wish I could bring you meals!

I have a great recipe for home-made spaghetti sauce and taco soup and meatloaf that all freeze really well. Would be happy to pass them along!

I plan on stocking my freezer too in the last couple weeks before delivery.

We PCS in 7 weeks (when I am 36 weeks) so I am starting to panic a little about my list as well since all the purchasing needs to be done before we go since we are moving to the middle of no where. Haha. Good luck! You look awesome :)
