Jackson Christopher was born on August 31, 2011, at 7:39am-- his due date!-- and was 7 lbs, 7 oz and 20.5 inches long. It was a sort of a whirlwind experience; if you want to know the story, email me, but I'm going to spare the general public the details :).

I honestly cannot believe that so much time has gone by! These weeks have just flown. Everyone tells you to enjoy every second, and now I understand why. They just pass by so quickly. Jackson is doing so well, and getting bigger by the day. He's gotten into a great eating and sleeping routine, I'm so thankful for how well he sleeps! He started sleeping 6-8 hours at night last week, and with only a few exceptions has kept that up.

Deployment number 2 started almost 2 weeks ago. It was an impossibly hard goodbye for both of us, but we've settled into a routine and are just hoping the year flies by quickly.
We've been able to Skype a few times, which has been awesome. I'm just hoping we can continue that, because it's so great for Chris to see Jackson.
That's all the updates I have for now, I'm off to spend time with my little man!

I'm so glad you are back with such a beautiful update! Jackson is precious & I know you are enjoying every minute of loving on him!
